1. About these terms

These terms apply when you book The Mark Anthony Method™ One-Day Practical Hypnosis Certification (the "Course"), provided by Mark Anthony, trading as The Mark Anthony Method™, ABN 30 781 343 672 ("we", "us"). By booking, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right you have under the Australian Consumer Law.

2. Booking and payment

  • The Course fee is $697 AUD including GST, payable in full at the time of booking.
  • Your place is confirmed once payment is received. You'll receive a confirmation email.
  • Payments are processed securely by our payment providers. We do not see or store your full card details.

3. Date, times and venue

  • The Course runs on Saturday 23 January 2027, from approximately 9:00am to 5:30pm, on the Gold Coast, Queensland.
  • The exact venue will be confirmed by email to everyone who books, at least 14 days before the Course.
  • You're responsible for your own travel, accommodation and meals unless we tell you otherwise.

4. Who the Course is for

  • The Course is designed for people with suitable client-facing experience. Entry requirements apply.
  • Before the Course, you'll be asked to complete a short health questionnaire. This helps us keep the practice sessions safe.
  • If your answers show the Course isn't suitable for you at this time, we may decline your booking and give you a full refund.

5. The Lunchtime Guarantee

If, by the lunch break on the day, you feel the Course isn't right for you, tell Mark before the afternoon session begins and return your student manual. You'll receive a full refund of your Course fee within 14 days. The guarantee applies to the Course fee only, not to travel or other costs.

6. If you need to cancel

  • More than 14 days before the Course: you'll receive a full refund.
  • 14 days or less before the Course: you can transfer your place once, free of charge, to a future Course date within 12 months, or send someone in your place who meets the entry requirements.
  • If you don't attend without letting us know, the Course fee is not refundable, except where the Australian Consumer Law requires otherwise.

7. If we need to change or cancel

  • If we need to change the date or cancel the Course, we'll let you know as soon as possible. You can choose a full refund or a transfer to a new date.
  • If we need to change the venue, it will remain on the Gold Coast, and we'll let you know promptly.
  • We're not responsible for travel or accommodation costs you've booked, so we recommend booking flexible options.

8. Certification

  • The Mark Anthony Method™ Practical Hypnosis Certification is awarded when you attend the full day, pass the practical assessment, and pass the knowledge check (submitted within 14 days of the Course).
  • If you don't pass first time, you can be reassessed once, free of charge, within 3 months.
  • The certification is an internal award of The Mark Anthony Method™. It is not government accreditation, a university qualification, or registration as a health practitioner.
  • You're responsible for following the laws and professional rules that apply to practising and advertising hypnosis where you work.

9. No guarantee of results or income

We'll teach the Course with due care and skill. However, results with clients vary from person to person, and we don't promise any particular client outcome or level of income from using what you learn.

10. Taking part safely

  • Practice sessions involve hypnotising and being hypnotised by other participants, using mild, everyday issues only. You can choose not to take part in any exercise, and you can stop at any time.
  • Hypnosis is not a substitute for medical or psychological care. Tell us before the Course about any health conditions that may affect your participation.
  • We may ask anyone who behaves unsafely or disrespectfully to leave, without a refund.

11. Course materials

Your student manual, scripts and forms are for your own professional use with your clients. Please don't copy, share, sell or use them to teach others, or present The Mark Anthony Method™ as your own course, without our written permission.

12. Photos and recordings

Please don't record any part of the Course. We won't photograph or record you without asking for your consent first.

13. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, including the Australian Consumer Law, our liability to you in connection with the Course is limited to supplying the Course again or refunding the Course fee.

14. Privacy

We handle your personal information in line with our Privacy Policy.

15. General

These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia. We may update these terms from time to time. The version in place when you book applies to your booking.
